Hi Paul,

It's very interesting to see another one of these types of sites coming online. I believe the trend started with 'RateMyTeacher' which was obviously a great success. What kid wouldn't want to provide their opinion of their teacher anonymously online? Interestingly the reviews I read of my former teachers were actually fair and balanced. There were a lot of positive reviews which I think shows that sites like these aren't just used by people who hold a grudge against the person they're rating.

As you've rightly pointed out the biggest problem with a site like this is that it isn't very useful or effective until it reaches a critical mass. Only a certain percentage of users will arrive at the site and be willing to spend the time entering their doctors details and then submitting a review.

I think for this site to work they'll need to work harder at firstly breaking down the barriers for people to add reviews and secondly being found on the web. Personally I don't think the name 'IWantGreatCare' accurately describes the functionality of the site.
I also feel that the scope is too narrow for this site. I think it would be great if a site came along which let people rate the work of anyone - for example doctors, lawyers, hairdressers, plumbers, and even user experience consultants! With all the data facebook has on it's users it could probably start one up but I'm sure they would never get away with it.
